Terms of Service

Note: This is an explanatory translation. The Turkish version is legally binding under Turkish law.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ExScore platform (exscore.app). By using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept, you should not use the service.

1. Definition of the Service

ExScore is a web platform that allows social media users (X, Instagram, TikTok handles) to be anonymously rated and commented on. Core features:

• 1-10 ratings on various categories about a handle
• 140-character text comments
• Character card (FIFA-style visual card) generation and sharing
• VIP membership (advanced features — via promo code or payment)
• Consent-based rating visibility

2. Account and Authorization

• You must sign in via X (Twitter) OAuth to use the service.
• You may only sign in using your own X account. Using someone else's account is forbidden.
• To write comments, you must verify your phone number.
• Users under 18 may use the service with parental consent. No service is provided to users under 13.

3. Consent and Rating Visibility

After you accept the "Consent Text" presented while using the service, the numerical ratings about you become permanently visible to all users. These ratings cannot be removed individually. To fully turn off visibility, you must delete your account (Section 8 — Account Deletion).

4. User Obligations

By using the service, you agree to:

• Be solely responsible for the comments and ratings you make
• Not share third parties' personal data (phone, address, etc.) in comments
• Not post insulting, threatening, harassing, or hateful content
• Not use fake accounts, multiple accounts, or bots
• Not attempt spam, malware, or phishing
• Not create abuse patterns like repeatedly low-rating the same person
• Not interfere with the technical infrastructure (scraping, DDoS, exploit attempts, etc.)

5. Prohibited Content

Content strictly forbidden in comments:

• Insults, profanity, harassment, threats
• Racism, discrimination, hate speech
• Obscene or sexual harassment content
• Child abuse, incitement to violence
• Third parties' private data such as phone, address, email
• Advertising, sales, commercial offers
• Misleading or defamatory statements
• Copyright infringement

6. Automated Moderation

Your comments are scanned by automated systems:

• Regex blocklist — known forbidden words
• OpenAI Moderation API — classification for insults, threats, harassment, sexuality, violence, hate speech

Comments found in violation are automatically hidden. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. VIP Membership (Paid Service)

• Free VIP via promo code may be offered to a limited number of users (e.g. EX10 — 30 days of VIP for the first 1000 users).
• Paid VIP will be offered as a monthly subscription or one-time purchase (not yet active).
• Payments are processed via İyzico; card details are not stored by ExScore.
• Membership perks: writing comments, replying, deleting your own comments, badge selection, advanced detail views.
• Membership is granted to a single user and cannot be shared.

8. Account Deletion and Refund Policy

• You may delete your account anytime. A 30-day waiting period starts from receipt of the request.
• You can change your mind and cancel during this period.
• After 30 days, all personal data (including numerical ratings) is irreversibly deleted.
• Anonymous aggregate statistics may be retained (KVKK art. 28).
• Refunds: Not yet active; this section will be updated once payment integration goes live (a 14-day right of withdrawal will apply under the Turkish Consumer Protection Law).

9. Intellectual Property

The ExScore brand, logo, source code, and content belong to ExScore. User-generated content (comments) belongs to its author; however, you grant ExScore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute this content on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

ExScore is not liable for damages arising from user-generated content (comments, ratings). The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

ExScore's total liability is limited to the total fees paid by the relevant user to ExScore in the last 12 months (zero for free users).

11. Account Suspension / Closure

In case of violation of these Terms, ExScore may apply the following:

• Deletion of comments
• Restriction of comment-writing rights
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account closure

For severe violations, prior notice may not be given.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in-app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices. Provisions of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 are reserved for consumer disputes.
